Foothills at Burke Mountain
A mountain as your backyard.
In 2002, Wesbild purchased approximately 400 acres of land on Burke Mountain from the government of British Columbia and private landowners. Working closely with the local residents, environmental stakeholders and the City of Coquitlam, we actively participated in the neighbourhood planning process and then moved our parcels through the approval process. After extensive community consultation, the first parcels of land were re-zoned in the spring of 2006 and construction began in early 2007.
With that, a new community was born. The Foothills at Burke Mountain is now home to many families with new neighbours moving in every week.
