While Westwood Plateau was sold to Rev's Entertainment in 2009, during Wesbild's ownership it was considered by many to be one of the finest golf facilities in B.C., if not Canada. It consists of the 18-Hole Country Club and the 9-Hole Golf Academy. The Country Club is a daily-fee public facility that under Wesbild's direction hosted many of the highest profile corporate and charity events of the Lower Mainland. The golf course, designed by Michael Hurdzan, incorporates large Douglas Firs, massive granite rock faces, rugged ravines and edge-of-the-world green sites into 18 unforgettable golf holes. The Academy features a separate 9-Hole executive length course, a 3-Hole practice area, 60 heated range stalls and 5 full-time CPGA instructors. In addition to great golf, Westwood Plateau was recognized for its superior dining experiences, both at the 35,000 square foot Country Club facility and at Hazards Restaurant, which is located at the Golf Academy.
